What do you do when the world is falling apart? How does it affect people and the way they act? These questions are explored through the chance encounter of three strangers on the train platform. Written by Mike Phelan, a dearly departed member of the expat community, The Platform is a funny, yet astute play about human behavior.

The Cipher Company is a new formation committed to bringing English-language theatre events to the Budapest community, as well as opportunities for artists to collaborate on theatre projects. We plan to tackle a wide variety of plays – modern, classic, and original works, as well as Hungarian pieces in English translation.
