Following a short break, with music reminiscent of the tranquility of the northern fjords, the concert will focus on the most well-known Norwegian composer and will deliver the consolation a new start may provide subsequent to a difficult era with the Grieg songs of the soloist and the Orchestra. The concert will conclude in the mandatory virtuoso section of the Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra, providing a richer interpretation of the grandiose string quartet written in 1878 building on the performance of not four, but sixteen musicians in artistic unison.
